Hendrickson, Mooney & Others Bring IRS to Heel
The days of fearing the IRS, and the rest of the Federal Government
for that matter, are over. Like Tolkien's black arrow that brought down
the accursed dragon, Smaug, or the sword that Arthur pulled from the
stone, Pete Hendrickson has given all Americans the one weapon they
will ever need to assert their true power in this country. That weapon
is the truth, and it does cut mightily!
There is not room enough in this editorial to tell the story of Peter Hendrickson (www.losthorizons.com), though you can be sure I will take the time to tell it elsewhere. It was during a truly fateful turn in my unlearning process, back in 2003, that I came across his work, Cracking the Code, The Fascinating Truth About Taxation in America. Before that time, I had come across one futile theory after another challenging the authority of the IRS to seize the hard-won earnings of private sector American citizens. All of these pretenders had one thing in common. They based their claims, in one way or another, on the unconstitutionality of the Income Tax, either in the law's passage or its application. Pete Hendrickson claims the exact opposite is true. As the Supreme Court has always upheld, the Revenue Laws, as enacted, are entirely constitutional. Where Hendrickson scores the absolute, total victory is in emphasizing that the Federal Government, because of our Constitution, has a very limited scope of power. This truth has always been on the books, but a great deal of suspicious and immoral activity has occurred over the years to hide this very powerful understanding. Indeed, the shock of the Great Depression and World War II provided ample opportunity for the wolves in society to debauch the law and carefully corrupt the common understanding of it within the flock-at-large. The fleecing that has gone on since that time has helped to create a lawless power that today threatens the world with extinction. Cutting to the chase, the truth is simply this; a private sector worker's earnings are not legally subject to the federal tax on income. They never have been, and as long as we still have a Constitution, they never will be. Why then, you ask, have you been paying income taxes on your earnings all these years? The answer is harsh, so take a deep breath before you read on.
Facing up to these facts is no easy process, especially if you are older and have invested years of your life supporting this gross system of injustice. But you will have to face up to these truths anyway, if you want to live the unlearned life and see the world do the same. So take care to clear your emotions and then focus on some empowering actions. Upon first reading of Hendrickson's work, I knew I had found a truth worth investigating. But success needed to be clearly defined, I judged. In order for his work to have merit, it must have a tangible, empowering result, one that can be easily taught and replicated by others. Otherwise, his truth would fall into the same category as other IRS critics (all believing they are correct, yet still having nothing but legal problems to show for it). My test covered two distinct phases, related by the truth being asserted but different in the methods of application. Test one, started in December of 2003, involved requesting a refund for monies collected from my earnings between the years 2000 and 2003. I would claim refunds all the way back to my first working year if I could, but the law only allows one to go back three years. The second test was simply asserting the truth over the course of the working year just passed (2004) and expecting a hassle-free refund in 2005. Test one is still on-going, as it involved changing my sworn initial testimony, the Form 1040, with an amended sworn testimony, the Form 1040X and a corrected W-2 or 1099 (Form 4852). The change in testimony reveals that the US government collected far too much money from my earnings in those three years and that I am due refunds totaling more than a few thousand dollars. It is because I am requesting that the government pony-up some cash that the process is still dragging its feet after well over a year. Test one also brings out the nastier side of the IRS, and is an excellent education on how government is not committed to serving the common good. The second test proved successful, which is the reason why this editorial is being written. If you follow the links at the end of this story, you will see the check and letter I received recently from the IRS. The amount of the check is smaller than I anticipated, as the government, sore-loser that it is, chose to strip my refund in the name of some conjured up penalty. The amount of the refund, before the fines, is the total amount of Federal taxes withheld from my earnings that year, including Social Security and Medicare. Despite the chicanery employed by the IRS in both of these tests, I will see them through to the end, which will be to my satisfaction. But it must be acknowledged right now that that greatest of all truths has been won as a result of these tests. For in the aforementioned letter from the IRS is their own admission that my private sector earnings do not constitute taxable income. This is a "get out of income taxes free" Monopoly card that I will play for the rest of my life. It was certainly worth the $20 spent on Hendrickson's book, and even worth the $1,500 in fines clipped from this year's tax refund. What remains now is for others to rapidly replicate Hendrickson's findings. If you go to his website, you will see refund checks from other brave souls who exercised their empowered courage to demand a true accounting from the government. Even if you will not exercise this truth for the sake of making our society a more equitable one, perhaps your own self-interest will kick in once you start imagining a life where you are actually getting to keep thousands of dollars that you are working hard for. The financial goals and dreams you may have thought out of reach, both for you and your loved ones, are now surprisingly within your grasp. We might soon be able to say that gone are the days when our arrogant servants of State behaved as if they were our masters. Furthermore, any "alternative news" websites failing to run this story are showing themselves to be part of the problem, and we should not give them our attention any more if they continue to ignore the greatest story/scandal in U.S. history. The implications of these findings are too many and too far-reaching to fully explore in the short space provided here. This much can be said with certainty: We now have the means to change this country, and therefore the world, very quickly. If we fail, it will not be because of some "divine will" or "cosmic destiny". The failing will be our own, and we shall have to live with it for all eternity.
